Report Summary

Total 35 patients were included and divided into two groups. Among them, 25 were in Pentoxyphyline and life style modification (PL) Group and 10 were in life style modification (L) Group. Mean age of patients were 39.03 ± 9.7 years, 41.52 ± 9.85 years in PL Group and 32.80 ± 6.17 years in L Group (p value 0 .014) . Twenty three of them were female (65.7 %), 18 (72 %) in PL Group & 5 (50 %) in L Group (p value 0.215). According to Asian criteria (BMI ?25kg/m2 consider as obese), 22 (62.9 %) were obese, 19 (76 %) in PL Group & 3 (30 %) in L Group (p value 0.011). According to Asian criteria (for male ?90 cm and female ?80 cm), total 29 (82.9 %) patients had raised waist circumference, among them 23(92 %) in PL Group and 06 (60%) in L Group (p value 0.023).
